Welcome to the course Neuroradiology – Vascular Emergencies of Atualiza 25!

Learning objectives:

Understand the main imaging protocols and approaches in vascular emergencies, with an emphasis on the identification, evaluation and treatment of different types of stroke and other acute vascular conditions, using resources such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and endovascular techniques, in order to support clinical practice and live discussion of cases.

Course syllabus:

This course covers, both theoretically and practically, the main imaging concepts and protocols applied in vascular emergencies, with a focus on radiological interventions in critical situations. The most appropriate diagnostic methods, such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), will be discussed, as well as the application of endovascular techniques in the context of stroke and other acute vascular conditions.
