OBJECTIVE

The objective of this webinar is to clarify the new tax reform and explain its direct and practical impacts on the healthcare sector. With the approval of Constitutional Amendment Proposal 45/2019, which establishes the new national tax system, major changes are emerging for hospitals, clinics, laboratories, health plan providers, and other players in the sector.

Dr. Marcelo Lauar

Director of Professional Defense of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (2025/2026), Doctor graduated in Medicine from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Medical Residency at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP), Title of Specialist in Radiodiagnosis conferred by the Brazilian Medical Association, Title of Specialist in Ultrasound conferred by the Brazilian Medical Association, Former Director of ABCDI (2024/2025) and Director of SINDIMAGEM (Union of Radiological Clinics of the State of Goiás).

SPEAKERS

Rodney Guardia

He holds a degree in Accounting with a focus on Auditing and holds postgraduate degrees in Auditing and Forensic Science. He is an Independent Board Member of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC) and has over 30 years of experience in consulting and tax law.

Leandro Resende

Administrator and Auditor certified by CNAI, specialist in management and recovery of tax credits, business consultant in the areas of accounting (IFRS), tax, finance, compliance, Public Digital Bookkeeping System (SPED), planning in transition of tax and corporate regimes, mapping of internal control processes, preparation of opinions with more than 20 years of experience in national and international companies.
