The PADI Webinar on the new version 6 of the Standard – Performing the Interventional Radiology Examination.
The new criteria guiding the execution of diagnostic interventional procedures, including image-guided biopsies, will be presented, focusing on:
✔️ Guaranteeing diagnostic quality and patient safety;
✔️ Differences between superficial and deep procedures;
✔️ Clinical monitoring and anesthetic support according to complexity;
✔️ Quality control of equipment, traceability of samples, and proper preparation of the report;
✔️ CORE requirements that ensure compliance with legislation and international best practices.

The new version of the PADI standard (Version 6) brought significant advances to the modalities of Nuclear Medicine and Bone Densitometry, with more detailed criteria focused on patient safety, diagnostic quality, and regulatory compliance.

During this webinar, CBR experts will present the main points. Changes between versions 5 and 6, highlighting new requirements of quality control of equipment, radiopharmaceutical management, traceability of processes and standardization of medical reports.

 

The meeting is an opportunity to understand how updating the standard strengthens safe care and technical excellence in diagnostic imaging services.
