The event took place in the 100% online format with the aim of promoting theoretical and practical updates for professionals in the sector. Learning Objectives

Contextualize the use of tomosynthesis and contrast mammography in screening and diagnosis, as well as digital mammography, discussing ways to optimize the examination technique, description of the findings and conduct according to bi-rads, demonstrating the difficulties in clinical practice, such as artifacts and main errors, in addition to reviewing the concepts and conduct in calcifications, nodules, asymmetries, architectural distortion.

In addition, the course will cover tips on how to implement performance auditing in imaging services of any size, which is an important step in guaranteeing the quality of care.

The course will consist of pre-recorded lessons with themes and content for use in clinical practice.

The mammography and its evolution course revisits the main lesions identified by mammography and will address practical questions about tomosynthesis and contrast mammography. It will also discuss the role of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis of breast lesions and in screening, as well as forms of auditing.

By the end of the course, the student will have reviewed the main topics in mammography in the light of new imaging methods and artificial intelligence.
