Welcome to the course Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Rectal Cancer: Defining Treatment Approaches of Atualiza 25!

Learning objectives:

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1) Understand the importance of diffuse liver disease;

2) Know how to measure fibrosis and steatosis by US, with objective assessment and its pitfalls;

3) Know how to quantify iron and fat in the liver using magnetic resonance imaging, using advanced techniques and even conventional methods;

4) Know how to quantify liver fibrosis, understanding the value of stiffness and its uses;

5) Know the role of CT in the analysis of these patients;

6) Check out some more advanced methods and alternatives.

Course syllabus: This course focuses on the evaluation of diffuse liver disease, including assessment of steatosis, iron deposition, and fibrosis, using ultrasound, CT, or MRI. The approach consists of describing the technical basis and objective measures for this analysis.
