      At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the clinical and laboratory concepts involved in the diagnosis of collagen diseases, as well as where imaging methods can help the rheumatologist in their definition;
• Review basic concepts of the diagnostic approach taken by high-resolution computed tomography of the chest;
• Know the main patterns of thoracic involvement in collagen diseases, including interstitial lung diseases; airway involvement; pleura and esophagus;
•  Recognize potential complications of treatment in collagen diseases and their patterns of pulmonary involvement;
• Contextualize the concept of progressive pulmonary fibrosis within pulmonary interstitial involvement in collagen diseases, recognizing patterns of evolution and quantification techniques.

The concepts involved in the applicability of imaging methods for diagnosis, management and follow-up in collagen diseases will be reviewed. These topics will be covered using short lectures and discussion of cases selected by radiologists with expertise in thoracic imaging and rheumatologists.

The lessons (knowledge pills) will be made available in advance on the event platform and the pre-selected cases will be discussed live.
