CbrOn Radiology in Undergraduate Medicine Course

This is a summary of a course aimed exclusively at medical students, focusing on Radiology. The course is coordinated by Luis Ronan Marquez Ferreira de Souza and Manoel de Souza Rocha, both specialists in Radiology. Below is the structure of the course, divided into modules:

Module 4: It deals with the topic of "Acute Abdomen", addressing obstructive, inflammatory and vascular/ischemic aspects.

Module 5: He focuses on high-impact trauma and ultrasound protocols, including thoracic trauma and abdominal traumatic injuries.

Module 6: It deals with jaundice, its diagnosis and diagnostic imaging methods.

Module 7: It explores orthopaedic situations, classifying bone fractures, spinal fractures and identifying bone tumors and infections.

Module 8: It focuses on the use of imaging tests in oncology, including breast screening, lung cancer screening and staging of malignant neoplasms.

Module 9: It deals with Radiology as a medical specialty, the role of the radiologist and Interventional Radiology.

Module 10: Explores the rational ordering of ultrasound exams.

Module 11: It focuses on imaging in Obstetrics and Gynecology, covering aspects related to obstetrics and gynecology.

Module 12: It covers thyroid ultrasound and the TIRADS classification system.
