The PADI webinar:\u00a0Safe Use of Contrast: How to Reduce Risks and Improve the Patient Experience.\u00a0<\/span>Among the strategies discussed will be the selection and preparation of patients for contrast examinations, including the appropriate choice of contrast medium, the application of specific questionnaires and screening for risk factors. Approaches for patients with renal insufficiency and allergies will also be presented, as well as defining the ideal interval between contrast media injections, recommendations on fasting prior to the examination and post-procedure care.
