Learning Objectives<\/strong><\/p>
  • To identify the main imaging findings of Alzheimer's disease and to learn the methods used to assess the volumetric reduction of the hippocampi;<\/li>
  • To identify the main imaging findings that can enable the differential diagnosis of atypical parkinsonian syndromes;<\/li>
  • Recognize signs that allow the diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus to be inferred;<\/li>
  • Identify the main imaging findings that can enable the differential diagnosis of toxic and metabolic encephalopathies;<\/li>
  • Recognize how and when the pet can be used in the evaluation of neurodegenerative diseases.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

    Menu<\/strong><\/p>

    The course will take a practical approach through the live discussion of clinical cases, tutored by experts in the field.<\/p>

    Nine pre-lectures will be available on the CBR platform, which should be watched before the course in order to get the most out of the case discussions.<\/p>

    After this course, participants should be able to identify the imaging findings of the (s):<\/p>

    • The main neurodegenerative diseases;<\/li>
    • \u00a0 Acute parkinsonian syndromes;<\/li>
    • \u00a0Normal pressure hydrocephalus;<\/li>
    • Toxic and metabolic encephalopathies;<\/li><\/ul>
