Learning Objectives<\/strong><\/p>

  • Recognize imaging aspects that support the prediction of benignity and malignancy in focal lung lesions, as well as know and apply the guidelines on which current management suggestions are based;<\/li>
  • To understand the applicability and limitations of image-guided invasive diagnosis in lesions suspicious for neoplasia, as well as to review the imaging staging of pulmonary neoplastic lesions;<\/li>
  • Understand the role of the radiologist in planning pulmonary surgical interventions;<\/li>
  • To know the main modalities of drug treatment and radiotherapy, as well as their main imaging complications.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

    Menu<\/strong><\/p>

    The concepts involved in the investigation, management and treatment of lung neoplasms and their interface with diagnostic imaging will be reviewed.<\/p>

    These aspects will be covered using short lectures and discussions of cases selected by radiologists and thoracic surgeons.<\/p>

    The Atualiza23 - National Circuit of Brazilian Radiology was held from March 31 to April 2. The event took place in the 100% online format with the aim of promoting theoretical and practical updates for professionals in the sector.
