Learning Objectives

To provide the participant with practical and theoretical knowledge of the main breast lesions seen on MRI, their descriptors, differential diagnoses and predictive values, as well as recommendations for management according to BI-RADS.

We also reviewed the examination technique and its evolution, especially with regard to new sequences and protocols, which can generate higher quality examinations in a shorter time, improving the performance of the technique.

It also recognizes the most frequent interpretation errors and ways to avoid them, in order to improve daily practice.

Menu

The course consists of theoretical and practical lessons that cover the main topics in breast imaging assessment using magnetic resonance, from the examination technique to how to describe, classify and define the course of action, always with a practical approach aimed at improving the quality of the examination.

It also covers the differential diagnosis and predictive values of the main findings, as well as discussing the main causes of interpretation errors and ways of documenting a high-quality examination.

In the interactive part, practical cases will be discussed, with highly qualified teachers bringing their experience, discussing the main problems and solutions, through direct interaction with the students.
