Welcome to the course CT Angiography and MRI: What the General Radiologist Needs to Know of Atualiza 25! 

Learning objectives:  By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

1) Learn how to perform angiotomography and angioresonance image acquisition protocols;

2) Learn the main post-processing techniques for angiotomography and angioresonance images;

3) Interpret/evaluate visceral stenoses and aneurysms;

4) Interpret/evaluate acute aortic syndromes;

5) Interpret/evaluate aortic aneurysms;

6) Interpret/evaluate stenoses and aneurysms of the lower limbs;

7) Interpret/evaluate thoracic outlet syndrome.

Course syllabus: This course introduces the basic concepts for performing and obtaining CT angiography (CT angiography) and MR angiography (MR angiography) images in various body segments. Theoretical classes will be taught on CT angiography image acquisition and the main image post-processing techniques. The main diagnostics in CT angiography and MR angiography will be addressed through structured analyses of acute aortic syndromes, aortic aneurysms, thoracic outlet syndrome, lower limb stenoses and aneurysms, and visceral stenoses and aneurysms.
