Description

CBR On Mama" is a space dedicated to updating radiologists in the area of breast diagnosis. The program is divided into modules that address various breast-related conditions. The course coordinators are Dr. Ana Lúcia Kefalás Oliveira and Dr. Linei Urban, both radiologists with extensive experience.

Here is a summary of the modules available:

Module 1 - Infectious and Inflammatory Changes This module deals with diagnoses related to infectious and inflammatory changes in the breast, including acute mastitis, Zuska's disease, Mondor's disease and other conditions.

Module 2 - Benign Functional Changes This module discusses the characteristics of simple, complicated and clustered breast cysts, as well as fibrosis and adenosis.

Module 3 - Benign fibroepithelial neoplasms This module covers benign fibroepithelial neoplasms, such as fibroadenomas, adenomas and phyllodes tumors.

Module 4 - Benign Mesenchymal Neoplasms Focused on benign mesenchymal neoplasms, this module includes information on hamartomas, pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia and other conditions.

Module 5 - Precursor and High-Risk Lesions This section discusses precursor and high-risk lesions, such as atypical ductal hyperplasia, lobular carcinoma in situ and other types of lesions.

Module 6 - Carcinomas According to Histologic Subtypes This module explores the different histologic subtypes of carcinomas, including ductal carcinoma in situ, invasive ductal carcinoma, invasive lobular carcinoma and others.

Module 7 - Carcinomas Molecular Subtypes Addresses the molecular subtypes of carcinomas, with information on the molecular classification of breast cancer and characteristics of HER2+ tumors.

Module 8 - Special situations This module deals with special situations, such as breast diseases in childhood and adolescence, pregnancy and lactation, male breast diseases and other changes.

Module 9 - Assessment of the Symptomatic Patient Focused on the assessment of symptomatic patients, this module includes information on mastalgia, palpable nodules, papillary flow and other symptoms.

This course offers a wide range of information for radiologists who wish to improve their knowledge in the field of breast diagnosis. Each module addresses specific topics related to breast conditions, allowing for continuous and practical training.
