Description

This space was created for radiologists to update their knowledge on topics related to musculoskeletal radiology. The course is coordinated by Aline Serfaty and Luciene Mota de Andrade, both specialists in the field. The course is divided into four modules:

Module 1 - Shoulder

  • Presentation and prerequisites
  • Shoulder X-ray: tips for a complete and effective assessment
  • Rotator cuff: relevant information for orthopedists
  • Uncomplicated anterior glenohumeral instability
  • Glenohumeral instability part 2: posterior instability
  • Microinstability patterns and other labral lesions

Module 2 - Hip

  • Module 1 prerequisites
  • Radiography of the pelvis: tips for a complete and effective assessment
  • Femoroacetabular impingement
  • Tendinopathies
  • Changes to the femoral head in adults
  • Deep gluteal pain

Module 3 - Knee

  • Module 2 prerequisites
  • Radiography of the knee: tips for a complete and effective assessment
  • Meniscus injury part 1 (basic)
  • Meniscus injury part 1 (advanced)
  • Cruciate ligament injury (not yet published)
  • Posteromedial corner lesions
  • Posterolateral corner lesions

Module 4 - Ankle and Foot

  • Radiography of the ankle: tips for a complete and effective assessment

  • Plantar Plaque Part I

  • Osteochondral lesion of the talus: from basic to advanced

Each module includes lectures and assessment tests. The course aims to improve the continuing education of radiologists in the musculoskeletal area, providing practical and effective information on diagnoses related to these regions of the body.
