This course is divided into 12 units, with each unit building on the knowledge acquired in the previous ones. The structure is as follows:

  1. Addresses ACR BI-RADS® 5th edition in the context of mammography, including lexicon, classification and recommendations.

  2.  It continues the exploration of ACR BI-RADS®, but now applied to ultrasound, with a focus on lexicon, classification and recommendations. This unit is a prerequisite for Unit 01.

  3. It focuses on BI-RADS® applied to magnetic resonance imaging, covering lexicon, classification and recommendations. Students must complete Unit 02 before accessing this unit.

  4.  It offers practical cases and clarifies frequently asked questions related to BI-RADS® applied to mammography. To access this unit, you must have completed Unit 03.

  5.  It presents practical cases and answers common questions related to BI-RADS® in ultrasound. Students must have completed Unit 04 as a prerequisite.

  6.  It continues with practical cases, but now in the context of BI-RADS® applied to MRI. Completion of Unit 05 is required before proceeding.

  7. It covers the documentation and reporting standard for mammography and ultrasound based on BI-RADS®. You must have completed Unit 06 to access this unit.

  8.  It explores breast tomosynthesis and how to use the lexicon, classification and recommendation adapting BI-RADS. Unit 07 must be completed first.

  9. It introduces the BI-RADS® audit and how it can benefit clinical practice. Completion of Unit 08 is required to access this unit.

  10.  It covers integrated breast assessment, including the use of mammography, contrast mammography, tomosynthesis, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging. Students must have completed Unit 09 before accessing this unit.

  11.  It explores interventional breast assessment, including procedures, documentation and anatomopathological correlation of breast biopsies. Completion of Unit 10 is a prerequisite.

  12.  Finally, the last unit looks at quality management in a mammography service. Completion of Unit 11 is required before accessing this unit.

This structure allows students to progress logically, building knowledge as they go along.
