The meeting will have the following theme:

“"Diagnosis of breast cancer in Brazil: challenges, impacts and possible solutions"”

The aim is to promote a qualified and diverse debate, addressing the topic from different perspectives.

19:40 – The account of a patient in the Brazilian public health system (SUS) who faced a delay in diagnosis due to difficulties.

19:50 – The oncologist's perspective, discussing how late diagnosis impacts treatment, therapeutic options, and survival (Dr. Abna Vieira)

20:05 – The experience of navigating a center of excellence in radiology in Rio de Janeiro, highlighting gains in early diagnosis and resolution (Dr. Mariana Alfenas)
