PADI is holding a webinar. “"Statute of Patient Rights"”, a meeting dedicated to discussing the progress, challenges, and perspectives of people in the context of healthcare, addressing advancements, challenges, and perspectives for its effective implementation in Brazil.

During the meeting, topics such as access to information, informed consent, patient safety, autonomy in decisions about one's own treatment, protection of privacy, and the humanization of care will be discussed. The activity also seeks to reflect on the role of professionals, health institutions, and public policies in guaranteeing these rights, contributing to more ethical, transparent, and patient-centered care.

The webinar will feature the participation of Dr. Higor Fatigati he He is a practicing lawyer specializing in Medical and Health Law, and a member of the CBR's legal team. He represents physicians before Medical Councils and the Judiciary. He holds advanced training in Medical Law and Bioethics from PUC Minas.
